Buducci’s Event Center is the destination for our Annual Meeting. This elegant new banquet/event facility created by Frank Budwey offers a beautifully appointed dining room plus up-to-date technology well suited to our program presentations. The venue is totally handicap accessible with ample parking right in front. Look for the Buducci’s signs at the various entrances to Budwey’s Plaza.

For your evening enjoyment, a sumptuous Thanksgiving feast complete with cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie will be prepared by Jim Fingerlow of Just Say Cheesecake. A cash bar will be available.

After a brief meeting including the election of three trustees and an award ceremony, we will welcome our guest speaker for the evening, Patricia Loeswick.

Pat Loeswick, historical society member and retired teacher from the Tonawanda School District, has put together an intriguing picture of the actual assassination and subsequent death of President William McKinley on September 14, 1901.

Pat was committed to using only primary sources: original pictures & news documents in her research and her knowledge of the subject is evident. As we view the campus and various facilities of the 1901 Pan-American Exposition held in Buffalo, Pat raises questions about why critical decisions were made and how the sequence of events adversely affected the outcome.

All in all, this should prove to be a very enjoyable evening in a comfortable new venue, featuring a magnificent meal and an entertaining and informative program. This will be an evening you won’t want to miss! All members and friends are welcome.
