DESCRIPTION:After a Thanksgiving feast prepared by Jim Fingerlow\, there will be a brief membership meeting. \n\n\n\nLeigh Balcom will then present a program on U.S. Presidents in Western New York.  37 presidents visited the Buffalo-Niagara Region.  Leigh will talk about the rich history of WNY on the national political scene. \n\n\n\nReservations are required for this event. DESCRIPTION:Come to the Benjamin Long Homestead\, fully decorated for the holidays\, and enjoy steaming pots of tea and plates of savories\, scones\, and sweets. \n\n\n\nCarole Barnard\, caretaker of the homestead for many years will present a program about the Long family and their amazing influence in Western New York. \n\n\n\nVintage dresses of the period will be on display. Docents will be available to answer questions and assist with tours of the home. \n\n\n\nReserved seating only for this event and space is limited. Cost is $30 per person. \n\n\n\nReminder – The Homestead is not handicapped accessible and there is a steep staircase.
